 invites you to experience the magic of cinema in all its forms. Our festival is dedicated to bold stories, fearless filmmaking, and fresh perspectives that challenge, inspire, and move us.

It is more than just watching movies. It's a meeting place—a forum where creators, film enthusiasts, and professionals come together to share their passion. We are proud to present a wide selection of domestic and international films, from shorts and documentaries to animations and experimental art.

Silver refers to our Nordic roots and Palm to our way of life living majority of year at palm places.

Award Categories

The festival's competition section celebrates the best cinematic achievements and highlights emerging talent. We present awards in the following main categories:

• Best Film: An award for the festival's top work, which stands out for its overall artistic merit, technical execution, and storytelling.

• Best Director: Recognition for the director who has created a unique and visionary whole out of the film.

• Best Screenplay: An award for the screenwriter who has crafted a strong, original, and touching story.

• Best Acting Performance: Awarded to the best actor who has made a significant contribution to the film's success.

• Best Short Film: The best work in the short film category, demonstrating exceptional creativity and storytelling skill in a condensed format.

• Audience Favorite: An award for the film that has managed to move and entertain the festival audience the most.

Film Submission Guidelines

Do you want your film to be part of the festival program? Here are the instructions on how to submit your film:

1. Submission Period: The submission period for films is from 1.8.2025 to 30.4.2026. Late applications will not be considered.

2. Eligibility Requirements:

   • The film must have been completed after 1.1.2024

   • We accept all types of films between 15 and 90 minutes

   • The film must be subtitled in English unless the original language is English or Finnish.

3. Submission Platform: Submissions are made through instruction you receive from e-mail.

4. Materials: Along with the film file, you must provide at least one still image from the film, a synopsis, and production credits.

Submission Fees

Our festival charges a submission fee to cover the handling and evaluation of the films.

Please note that the submission fee is non-refundable, even if the film is not selected for the festival program.
